Chinese Traditional Dragon Boat Festival

Dragon Boat Festival is an ancient traditional festival, began in China's Spring and Autumn Period, has been more than 2,000 years of history.

The Dragon Boat Festival is on May 5(Chinese Lunar Calendar), the festival is to memorize a famous ancient poet--- Qu Yuan, a patriot poet.

The Dragon Boat Festival is also called May Festival. Traditional customs include making rice dumplings, dragon boat races and hanging moxa.

In 2008, China began to Ching Ming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival as a statutory holiday. So from May 28th-30th, we have three day off to enjoy the festival.
